Sr. Pastor Vernon M. Robertson

Vernon M. Robertson began preaching at the age of 26. He is the son of the late Dr. R.M Robertson and Chanie Robertson, a highly respected minister of the Gospel who served as the Moderator for New Life Community Church. Vernon M. Robertson was born in Dallas Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree, where he studied Radio-TV and Journalism. He earned a certificate degree from Southern Baptist Institute. He earned his Master Degree and Doctorate of Ministry from Living Word Bible College. His preaching ministry has carried across the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa.

Lady Denise Robertson

Lady Denise Robertson serves as the Executive Administrator of New Life Community Church (NLCC) and Executive Director of New Life Learning Center.  She also serves on the board of directors of Lakewood Community Development Corporation.

Prepared for God's Calling

First Lady Denise Sanders Robertson has served alongside her husband Senior Pastor V.M Robertson, since their marriage in 1994. She supports leadership and teaches with energy and compassion to stir the heart of congregations. Her work is to complement the ministry of her husband. They are the founders of Hold Your Hope Ministries, a service-based ministry that promotes the business of clergy and religious workers, and Girl Talk, which is an outlet to mentor and encourage young ladies.

Vernon M. Robertson is a native Texan and the Pastor of New Life Community Church.  Vernon M. Robertson is a charismatic leader; a visionary; a provocative thinker; and entrepreneur. A socially conscious preacher for 30 years, Dr. Vernon M. Robertson has made it his mission to empower people to change the community. His message is clear: If Christians are to positively impact the world they must be willing to minister beyond the walls of the church.

Lady Denise Sanders Robertson serves alongside her husband DR. V.M Robertson, as Set Ministry Gifts to New Life Community Church. They are the founders of Hold Your Hope Ministries, a service-based ministry that promotes the business of clergy and religious workers, and Girl Talk, which is an outlet to mentor and encourage young ladies. Our First Lady has traveled throughout the United States and Jamaica as an ambassador missionary for the cause of Christ.

Lady Denise has written children’s curriculum for the” Kidz for the Kingdom” a ministry at NLCC. She has also written manuals for the ministry which supports leadership training, and Kindred Spirit women’s ministry.

When it comes to conquering cancer Our First Lady is a fighter. She has spoken to Cancer organizations such as Swim Across America and has also written blogs for Baylor Hospital about her life and her husband's life and the challenge they face with a serious disease. Lady Robertson has served under the tutelage of Dr. Mark Hanby and Dr. Karen D. Taylor who both serve the body of Christ globally.

Family

Denise Robertson is married to her favorite pastor/teacher and best friend, Dr. V.M Robertson. Together they have four children: Simeon, Deon, Kyndal, and Cydni and three beautiful grandchildren.

Educational Background

Lady Denise has a Bachelor of Religious Education from Living Word Bible College, Tyler Texas, and attended Dallas Theological Seminary Center for Biblical Studies (Lay Program,). She is now continuing her education.
